Alfaaz: Poetry

Poetry is the literature that flows with emotion and paints a beautiful picture of a series of thoughts. To express your emotions to the world, Passion 2020 provides you the perfect platform through "Alfaaz" - The poetry competition. You will get a chance to recite your best creation and take-home exciting prizes.

Rules and Regulations

1. The medium of the poetry can be Hindi or English
2. It should be an original piece; if found to be copied, the person will be immediately disqualified
3. Round 1 (Preliminary Round) – The written entry has to be emailed
4. Deadline for submission for Round 1 – 11:59 PM, 23rd December 2020
5. Round 2 (Final Round) – This would be a live round, the shortlisted candidates would have to recite the piece that they submitted in the Preliminary Round, on the day of the event
6. The date and time of the final round will be communicated later
7. Time limit for Recitation – Maximum 3 minutes
8. The entries for each round are to be emailed at imtgpassion.finearts@outlook.com

Judging Criteria

• Hindi and English poetry would be judged separately, and both the mediums would have one winner and one runner-up each
• Relevance to the theme
• Creativity/Style and Originality
• The coherence of form and structure (harmony of words, presentation)
• Clarity of imagery and language

Artsville: Painting and Sketching

Life is a canvas! You don't have to be a Da Vinci to pick up the colours and paint it. Paint it! Sketch it! Do anything you like until you enjoy it!

Painting, the expression of ideas and emotions, with the creation of certain appealing qualities, on a canvas. This artform which involves the beautiful blending of colours and ideas, creates a universe worth a million perception. We invite you to join us in this merriment and show your creativity with the help of a paintbrush or a pencil.

Rules and Regulations

1. The medium of painting (watercolours, oil paints, acrylic paints, etc.) or sketch (pencil, charcoal, ball pen, etc.) is up to the participants’ discretion
2. It should be an original piece; if found to be copied, the person will be immediately disqualified
3. The participant will have to send four pictures of the art at different stages of making. For example – At 25%, 50%, 75%, and the final at 100% of completion (these percentages are approximate values)
4. Top entries would be posted on our social media accounts
5. The entries for the round are to be emailed at imtgpassion.finearts@outlook.com
6. Deadline for Submission – 11:59 PM, 23rd December 2020
